Doug's Camp Fund Newsletter - December 2010

Dear Friends of Doug,

Thank you for your continued support of the Camp Fund. The spirit of Doug continues to do amazing things for children of all ages. We receive wonderful thank you notes from the children that are awarded scholarships about their great camp experiences.

Doug DiCenzo

We have established a fund for children that will live on for many years because of so many people's generosity. We are making a difference in children's lives and we have Doug to thank for that. Doug would be very proud of his legacy to the children of New Hampshire.

Thank you for your continued support,
Cathy, Mark, Nic, Dak & Dan

Over $30,000 Raised in Doug's Golf Tournament

The 4th Annual Captain Douglas DiCenzo Camp Fund Golf Tournament raised over $30,000 to help send children to camp. Over 170 golfers played at Owl's Nest Golf Course in Campton, NH on a beautiful sunny day. A group of 20 volunteers help the tournament run smoothly and have lots of fun. The Owl's Nest Golf Course is very generous to the Camp Fund and helps make this event very successful. We look forward to seeing everyone on June 24, 2011.

Bridge

Teachers, coaches and school guidance counselors from central New Hampshire identify students who they feel would benefit from attending a camp, but may not be able to attend without some financial assistance.

Then, working with the person making the recommendation, the child's parents and the camp, an appropriate assistance program is put in place to provide camp opportunities.
